Please note that some of the audience will be sat on the floor for this performance. If you require or would prefer a seat, please contact info@stonenest.org.

The Patient is an experiential sacral happening from one of Europe’s most sought-after choreographers, Ben J. Riepe.

A multiple award-winning and critically acclaimed choreographer, Ben J. Riepe has drawn audiences around the world into his atmospheric, visually arresting and highly sensual artistic realm, from his native Europe to Brazil, Korea, Malaysia, Canada, India and beyond. As well as creating a highly acclaimed body of work for his company, Riepe has collaborated with Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch and guest choreographed for a number of leading international companies, presenting work in galleries, theatres, festival stages and opera houses globally.

Stone Nest is proud to present the company’s first London show The Patient, in which the dancers’ bodies journey together through uncensored human experience, at times tender, at times brutal, collectively harmonising and resonating, creating an intensely moving soundscape.

“Ben J. Riepe presently ranks among the most in-demand choreographers and dance performance artists on the international stage. This is, on the one hand, due to his work, positioned between performing and visual arts, bearing extraordinary currency in its content, while he, on the other hand, conceives surreal, atmospheric images instead of following a linear descriptive structure, and those images suggestively – and lastingly – unfold their enormous impact.”
