Concert for Just Peace in the Middle East

Join us for a transformative evening of music, art, and connection at Makam Salam (מקום שלום | مقام السلام), a Concert for A Just Peace in the Middle East. This special event brings together a collective of renowned musicians and artists from across Palestine-Israel, Lebanon, Iran, the Middle East and beyond in a shared stand for peace, unity, and coexistence.

Through music, live art, stories and poems, we aim to create a space for empathy and understanding, breaking down divides and bringing our societies here closer and more open to connecting. Together, we stand for peace, understanding, connection and justice, and against violence, war, occupation, oppression, and hate. We gather tonight to bring more peace and understanding - first, within each of us in the room, between each other, and out into London and the world.

This is more than a concert—it’s a shared journey. The night blends soulful performances, interactive performances, audience singing, and live art projections by acclaimed artists collective Broken Fingaz, creating an immersive atmosphere to reflect and connect with ourselves and each other.
The evening will include contributions from grassroots peace activists, poets, and nonprofits working for peace, with personal stories of hope and resilience woven throughout the performances.

Our Call

Our shared collective of Palestinian-Israeli, Middle Eastern artists and allies are united in our call for peace and imagining an alternative peaceful, just, and equal reality. Right now, we are specifically calling for:

  • An immediate ceasefire and hostage deal.
  • An end to all violence, war, occupation, and oppression.
  • Equal rights, safety, and freedom for everyone across the land.
  • Peace, nonviolence & understanding as a way of life; liberation from labels and “sides”, open-mindedness and dialogue,, holding each other’s humanity, peace and love as our shared goal.

This is a night to imagine an alternative reality with collective liberation and peace permeating the Middle East and beyond — starting within ourselves and radiating outward into the world.

Comprehensive security measures, including bag checks, will be in place at the event. Please plan to arrive early to allow sufficient time for the security screening process.
