Scenic Route presents a night of live performances from Nourished By Time, Pelin Pelin and Joseph Efi. Featuring performances throughout the night from an enigmatic crew of visual artists and DJs; 150 Heads and Scenic Route labelheads; Bryce’s Brother and Jon Phonics.

Pelin Pelin is a producer, pianistand songwriter, she enjoys ruffling up the existing order of musical genres.Her piano recordings are improvised and unrevised first takes, inserted into abody of music influenced by club culture. The resulting sounds are hypnotic andradical in shape yet vehemently emotional. Pelin has been commissioned tocompose numerous musical accompaniments for British fashion labels’ runwayshows such as Sinead O’Dwyer and KTZ. A key contributor to Scenic Route’s TheRoad Less Travelled 2022 compilation with DNA of a Locksmith, supported on BBCRadio 6 by Tom Ravenscroft, Nabihah Iqbal and others.

Baltimore native Nourished By Time isa singer, songwriter and producer who explores themes of trauma, post-industrialsociety, love and large bodies of water. His music delivers on feeling as wellas presenting his unique worldview laden with ear worm hooks and infectiousmelodies. Not defined by time, with head nods to eighties virtuosos such asArthur Russell and Prince, he is carving out a fresh sound defined by hisintimate vocals, raw guitar licks and undeniable groove. Nourished By Timetraverses a broad spectrum of sound, allowing his songwriting to dictate theever-changing mood he orchestrates; be it love or loss. He released his twotrack EP Erotic Probiotic on the Scenic Route label earlier this year, creatinga cult following in the UK/US.

Southeast London-based Joseph Efi isa multi-talented producer, songwriter, DJ and remixer, as well as one third ofthe underground punk band, In Tongues. His ethereal bass driven productionpunctuated by moody vocals and glitchy sounds creates a sonic world in whichit’s hard not to lose yourself.
